The 3rd Annual Barber Vintage Festival, Oct. 19-21, is coming up fast, and if you’re a classic bike fan it’s easily the best weekend of the year to visit the famed Barber track and museum, home to one of the world’s largest collections of vintage and modern motorcycles, and also to a growing collection of vintage race and street cars. With upwards of 500 motorcycles on display, the museum is unlike any other — and that’s just the start.

The weekend event will feature the final races of the 2007 AHRMA racing series, along with a variety of great happenings, including an ever-growing swap meet, motorcycle manufacturer demos, a vintage motorcycle auction and a full host of vintage motorcycle club shows. You’ll also have the chance to visit the Motorcycle Classics show, where we’ll pick the winning 12 bikes for our “Bikes of 2007” Contest. Winners will have their motorcycles professionally photographed on location to appear in a future issue of Motorcycle Classics. We’ll also be hosting an exclusive exhibit of art prints from photo artist Daniel Peirce. Last year’s event included the inaugural Motorcycle Classics Barber to 29 Dreams Charity Ride. This year’s charity ride promises to be even bigger and better, so log on to www.MotorcycleClassics.com for registration details and more information on this must-attend classic motorcycle event.
